how we help

The primary function of the Wayne Township Trustee's Office is Township Assistance, which means emergency assistance in regards to the basic necessities of life.  Eligible citizens may apply for assistance in the following areas:

Shelter        Utilities        Medication        Food        Burials

People who qualify for assistance may also participate in other programs within Wayne Township, such as:

Employment           Outreach            Workfare

There are even programs for people who are 

NOT eligible for Township Assistance.  

These programs have their own eligibility criteria.
