The Youth Department is in full-swing during the summer with the Wayne Township's Computer Explorers Camp.  It is through the generosity of the Paul E. Clarke Foundation that we are able to bring this camp to the children of Fort Wayne's inner city.

This Camp is designed to teach and inspire area youth about computer technology and their future.  They are taught through hands-on and creative learning.  This summer camp is loaded with technology, crafts, guest speakers, and field trips.

Children between grades 1 though 6 who complete their two-week camp are expected to achieve skills in basic computer usage, keyboarding, word processing, graphics, databases, spreadsheets, telecommunications, and multimedia.  They will also build upon core educational subjects like math, language arts, science, and social studies.
